The protection of your personal data is important to me. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, German BDSG, TDDDG) and this privacy policy. This website can generally be used without providing personal data.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host):

The host processes data on my behalf that is required to operate the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable and secure provision of the website). A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

4. Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are usually: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the technically error-free presentation and security of the website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking cookies. For basic functions, only your browser's local storage is used — for example to store your selected language and your privacy settings. This information remains on your device and is not transferred to me or to third parties. It is technically necessary (§ 25 (2) TDDDG) or based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can delete local storage at any time in your browser settings.

6. Consent management

Via the consent banner (“Privacy & cookies”) you can allow or decline optional services. Your choice is recorded in your browser's local storage so that the banner does not appear again on every visit. You can revoke or change your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Currently no optional services are active.

7. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are delivered locally from my own server (self-hosting). No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) takes place; in particular, your IP address is not transferred to third-party providers.

8. Contacting us

If you send me enquiries by e-mail, your details, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by me for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing the enquiry). This data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). 10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line begins with “https://”.
